This blog was inspired by the enthusiastic feedback I received after posting this entry on Just a Casual Observation. Both women and men contacted me to recount their stories on this theme. Most stories dealt with the disconnect created by the influx of technology into their romantic relationships. Texting, IMing, Blackberries, iPhones, iPods, online communities like Myspace, and dating sites like match.com all work to redefine courtship and intimacy in the Modern Age for better or for worse.
